Το επίσημο theme του blog μου είναι επιτέλους έτοιμο και διαθέσιμο (δωρεάν φυσικά) για download (όπως είχα ανακοινώσει και σε παλιότερο post)! Ονομάζεται Whitepress και μπορείτε να το χρησιμοποιήσετε και να το πειράξετε όσο θέλετε! Τέλος στην επίσημη σελίδα του Whitepress μπορείτε να βρείτε πολλές χρήσιμες πληροφορίες τόσο για το theme, όσο και το customization του. Enjoy

Very cool mate! I’m digging the tabbed boxes in the sidebar, those are excellent.

A quick word about the “selected” state of the main navigation. Unless I’m misunderstanding something, WP does actually provide a class to target for the current page: “current_page_item”. It attaches this class to the surrounding element, so it’s easy to still target the child.

So your CSS rule:

#navigation ul li a.selected{…}

Can simply become:

#navigation ul li.current_page_item a{…}

Hope that’s helpful! I know I still owe you some video translation help too mate, sorry to be so slack on that! Just super busy these days….

Doh! The comment system stripped my HTML tags. It should’ve read:

Really mate? I didn’t knew that the WP templating system provides a ready to use “selected” state… I’ll check it out (how did i miss that?!?!). Thanks for the tip Johny-boy! I can’t believe you are reading a “greek” web design blog!!! I feel so proud now

Regarding the webartcast videos, don’t worry mate, I still don’t know if I’m going to support this project anymore… Currently I’m part of something really good for the greek standards (CSS3.gr), so I might focus my energy and passion there. Take care and c u around, it’s a small world!!!
